Many times during the week we would take our breaks, and walk around the building of Best Lock. One particular day Sue and I took a walk around the building, and when we finishes I looked at her and she looked different. I remember after the walk making a comment to her that she was glowing. Sue just looked at me and did not say anything that day, but later told me that she was pregnant, that was with Isaac. Susan had a very sweet spirit about her and always spoke well of others.
My husband runs for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, now he can run in honor of Susan. God Bless you Duane; and family members. My family is praying for you.

Duane and Family,
So sorry to hear about your loss. Susan and I go way back before either of us were married at Best Lock. We worked in the same department and I remember Susan as a fun and loving person that liked to laugh. Although, this was many years ago now, memories make it seem so recent. Our prayers are with you and your family. May God bless you and give you a special grace and comfort at this time.

Karen and I are genuinely saddened, by the loss of Susan. I will always remember what a pleasure it was to interact with Susan, who joyfully carried out her responsibilities in the office at Best Access Systems. Karen, remembers the camaraderie, she shared at her work wedding shower.

CICC Staff says
The entire office was saddened to hear about Susan. News like that never comes easy, especially when it involves someone so young, emotionally strong, courageous & full of life & love.
There is no earthly explanation for why Susan had to go thru all she did. We can only trust in the God she loved & served.
Susan will be remembered for the gifts of self & the examples she left with each of us: HER COURAGE& QUIET DIGNITY: To go thru so much & handle it the way she did…. HER SENSE OF HUMOR: A smile & chuckle was always so close to the surface and readily shared! (Especially enjoyed the sarcasm!) HER LOVE OF FAMILY: It was so evident in how she spoke of each of you, the look on her face & the sparkle in her eye told all. It was evident that her love for you was the source of her strength; her reason for fighting so hard; her very purpose in life.
Your pain & feelings of loss are so deep right now, and yet those same thoughts and memories will serve to comfort you and again fill your hearts with joy. Our prayer is that that day will come quickly. It was a pleasure & a gift to know Susan & all of you. She will be missed by all her friends here, but never forgotten.
All our love, Dr. Logie and his staff.

Duane,Isaac, and Caleb,
I just heard God had called Susan to Him. She has been in my prayers since I met her 2 1/2 yrs. ago at the Cancer Center. Susan and I hit it off right away. I am a sewer and quilter and I work for Jo Ann Fabrics. We talked for hours that first day because both of us were getting chemo. Susan had such a wonderful attitude. You will all be in my prayers as will Susan. I know she is no longer suffering, but that you miss her tremendously. I will always remember her brillant smile . God Bless you all during this painful time. Thank you for sharing Susan with me. I will treasure our short friendship always.
With prayers,
Juliann Gladden
